DAnIEL: A User-Friendly Web Server for Fungal ITS Amplicon Sequencing Data

Trillions of microbes representing all kingdoms life are resident in, and on, humans holding essential roles for the host development physiology. The last decade over a dozen online tools servers, accessible via public domain, have been developed analysis bacterial sequences; however, fungi is still in its infancy. Here, we present web server dedicated to comprehensive human mycobiome (i) translating raw sequencing reads data tables high-standard figures, (ii) integrating statistical machine learning with manually curated relational database (iii) comparing user’s uploaded datasets publicly available from Sequence Read Archive. Using 1,266 Internal transcribed spacers (ITS) samples, demonstrated utility DAnIEL on large scale show differences fungal communities between skin soil sites.
